I met Just back in high school when he use to go to parties, and now he throws his own parties. He’s come a long way from murkin’ fools in Starbucks rap battles. Don’t let anyone tell you…
that what your doing is stupid, or get a real job, zombie apocalypse is something that you don’t need training for, pursuing a dream is usually a pipe dream, that they’re better than you, that just because I don’t go to someone else’s office its not work, and last but not least that you have to go to college. Sometimes it is just a place you don’t need to be at, but go to all the frat parties!

 The last time I said never again…
was when these assholes decided it was funny to make me drink 151 or Patron mixed with Hennessey, both options not fucking cool for school!
 

The cure for a hangover is…
2 Advils right before sleep, bottled water, Pho or some type of hot soup, and another episode of the previous night

Ball Tip

Feb, 2Tone and I hit up this spot called “Kinder’s Meats Deli BBQ,” which is known for their “Ball Tip Sandwich.” Tone recommended that we order it, but Feb and I thought he was playing a joke on us. A sandwich with ball tips in it didn’t sound too appetizing. Online, ball tip is described as “the finer grained neighbor of tri tip.” Feb and I were eventually sold and it was a damn good sandwich.

Nostalgic.

After long conversations about zombie apocalypse and old martial films (preferably films that involve underground fighting tournaments and ninjas), everyone was feeling real nostalgic. Thank god for Youtube because we were up till 5:30am watching 80’s and 90’s music videos. Just and I basically went through our whole history of musical tastes (Bay Area gangsta rap, backpack rap and depressing indie rap anyone?)

You know how some songs just bring you to a certain place? This is the song that gave me crazy flashbacks of high school summers, just chillin with my friends and pretending I didn’t like mainstream hip-hop…

Feb said this song makes him both sad and happy about hip-hop, and I think I know exactly what he meant. Remember when Def Jam was at the top with Murda Inc., Rocafella, Ruff Ryders, Method Man and Redman? Remember when Timbaland and his squad was making some of the most unique music on urban radio? Remember when everyone was collabing, and at any given moment you could see these artists in each others music videos?
